Last updated: April 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Runtime Company's services, including Browser Relay, the Console, and associated APIs (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

The Runtime Company provides developer tools that connect AI coding agents to web browsers through the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Browser Relay enables agents to interact with real browser sessions, including reading page content, navigating, and interacting with elements.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and connector tokens. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' browser sessions or data
  • Use the Services to scrape, harvest, or collect data from websites in violation of their terms of service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers connected to the Services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Services (except as permitted by applicable law)
  • Share, sell, or transfer your API keys or connector tokens to unauthorized parties

5. Browser Session Security

Browser Relay operates within your own browser sessions using your cookies, credentials, and profiles. You are solely responsible for the actions performed by AI agents in your browser sessions. The Runtime Company does not access, store, or transmit your browser session data, cookies, or credentials through our relay infrastructure.

6. Usage Limits and Billing

Services are offered under tiered plans with specified usage limits. If you exceed the included tool calls for your plan, overage charges may apply at the rates specified in your plan. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. During the beta period, all tiers are free.

7. Open Source Components

Portions of Browser Relay are open source and governed by their respective licenses (available in the project repository). These Terms apply to the hosted services, Console, and API infrastructure provided by The Runtime Company.

8. Intellectual Property

The Runtime Company retains all rights in the Services, including trademarks, logos, and proprietary technology. You retain all rights in your data and content processed through the Services.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. During the beta period, the Services may contain bugs, errors, or incomplete features.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Runtime Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Services.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your API keys and connector tokens will be revoked.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Console. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
